Was one of your New Year resolutions to write and put those creative muscles to good use? Well CBC Books has a great contest for you to participate in that rewards you in a big, big way:
Canadians have only a couple weeks left before the deadline for this year’s CBC Creative Nonfiction Competition. Prizes go to the best original, unpublished work of creative nonfiction we receive (between 1,200 and 1,500 words). First Prize is $6,000 from the Canada Council for the Arts, a two-week writing residency at The Banff Centre, and publication in enRoute magazine.
